Baobab starter, 3 years old. Perfect gift plant!
Baobab, also called the Tree of Longivity, can live for 5000 years. Pass this remarkable plant in your family from generation to generation! Regarded as the largest succulent plant in the world, the Baobab tree is steeped in a wealth of mystique, legend and superstition wherever it occurs in Africa, being a tree that can provide food, water, shelter and relief from sickness. In the nature the massive, usually squat cylindrical trunk gives rise to thick tapering branches resembling a root-system, which is why it has often been referred to as the Upside-down Tree.
Planting directions: pot into 6" container or shallow bonsai dish using well drained bonsai mix, like Adenium soilless mix. Water well and put in bright light, full sun is preferable. Let soil dry between waterings. Fertilize once a month during warm season, with a balanced granulated fertilizer and Sunshine boosters: SUNSHINE-BC for fast growing thick trunk, and SUNSHINE SuperFood. As the plant grows, step up into bigger container after proper trimming of roots and branches.
Thanks to its internal water supply, the Baobab Tree can take several months without soil. The plants are shipped bare-rooted to save your shipping costs.

Bright and sunny, with strong lime green stems, it is a funky Colocasia, very vigorous with colorful stems, and superior foliage in magnificent shades on plants that are just the right size - from 4 to 6 feet tall.
Plant a Gecko in your garden or in a pot for instant color and a superior tropical effect. Keep this one out of hot afternoon sun and you will have a bright, happy beauty all summer long. Related to the mangosteen, the Forest Garcinia originated from Pondoland in the Eastern Cape and is very rare even in exclusive collections. It is difficult to propagate. It has fragrant flowers in early summer, decorative orange fruits in winter, glossy foliage with attractive pale green new growth and it is easy to grow. This species is used in traditional medicine.
Evergreen shrub suitable for semi-shade or shade, it is easy to grow, but slow growing, which makes it more manageable and suitable for smaller gardens as well as larger gardens and parks. It also does well in containers. Grow it in a warm spot, in semi-shade or shade, in well-drained, fertile soils, and water well in spring and summer. Garcinia gerrardii is suitable for pot cultivation and with its slow growth, deep green foliage and showy fruits, it would make an interesting substitute for decorative citrus in pots. It is also a good choice for a difficult position in deep shade.
